I've always been passionate about health and fitness. Starting as a gymnast through most of my childhood and eventually transitioned into CrossFit which I did for 12 years (6 of them competitive).
Over the years, I've garnered a vast knowledge of functional nutrition. Emphasizing on hormone & gut health, optimizing metabolism, improving mindset and helping individuals find nutritional freedom!
My nutritional coaching approach is based primarily on lifestyle factors and individualization, both critical factors to success. I take time to work with every individual to figure out the best plan based on their specific needs and goals.

Hey there! I'm Christina Kidd and I am so excited to be apart of KA Nutrition!
I'm from Charlotte, NC and went to East Carolina University for my Exercise Science BA. (Go Pirates!)
After going through 4 years (okay, maybe 5) of school, getting my personal training certification and getting some experience under my belt in the fitness industry, I was disappointed at how little I knew about nutrition. I was tired of being confused all the time so I did something about it.
During my journey to figure out my own food-ship, I, not only, fell in love with the process but got to help friends along their way too!
Years later - I still love talking to people about FOOD!
I have worked with women, men, college students, busy parents, prenatal and postpartum women and most people in between!
I have clients with major performance goals in CrossFit and Weightlifting and I also have those that simply want to feel good day in and day out.
I have 3 main goals when I work with any client:

- Find a way of approaching food that matches their lifestyle. Major ~unnecessary~ changes and interruptions to your current life may give you quick results but is that going to last forever?
- Which would leave me with my number 2...
- Sustainability. I want my clients to build habits that help them feel good for the long haul - not just right now. No quick fixes here!
- Repair any difficult relationship there may be with food. Food is fuel. Food is GOOD. Food is what keeps us going, gets us ready for a great workout, heals us when we're injured and can be a catalyst for creating amazing memories.

ANNA KENNEDY

I am Anna Kennedy, the mental health therapist partnering with KA Nutrition. I am so excited to be here! I have been working as a therapist for over 15 years, and I absolutely love what I do.
About 5 years ago, I started my own private practice. I work with most mental health concerns, but a lot of my focus is working with eating disorders/disordered eating, anxiety, maternal mental health (the before, the during, and the after of all motherhood), fertility concerns and depression.
As an entrepreneur, I also love to geek out on personal growth, reaching goals, leadership development, and all things wellness!
